Dissapointing stay at Danesfield house
We were very disappointed in our stay at Danesfield. Upon our arrival we were told that we had to have dinner at 6 and breakfast 8:15 am as all other slots were booked. After raising this as an issue the manager said that they would see if the restaurant could accommodate us at a later breakfast slot and promised to let is know but he never contacted us. The steam room was not working and the hot tub had cold water coming out of the jets. In addition there were no spare loungers so some guests were forced to leave their towels on the windowsill. The dinner which was included in the price charged us a 20 service fee. When querying this in departure we were told that this was discretionary even though it was automatically added onto our drinks bill.
Lovely tired hotel
On arrival we were welcomed and shown to our room. Lovely location. Room very tired and in need of updating. The bathroom was very old. Toilet seat was plastic and didn t fit. The shower was powerful but the head fell off on number of occasions. Sadly it hit my husband on the head. Blood everywhere. The onsite first aider could not find any plasters and gave us tiny blue ones!!!
The restaurant food was good but repetitive. You only need to eat once there. The price for drinks was extortionate. The grounds were amazing and we had a lovely view from our room
Awful Stay
We stayed and had the most awful stay. Spoken to hotel only not to receive any support, followed up with an email and hotel are yet to respond, even though it has been over 10 days! Do not book or stay it was an awful experience, with no hot water, spa staff not calm and did not know what treatments we were booked in for, water in spa/pool was freezing cold and unable to use. The bathroom in bedroom mouldy and dusty. The bedroom basic and not comfortable. To add to this police were onsite with a rogue visitor whom they were trying to locate in the property and we felt very unsafe.

Exit J7 at next roundabout and turn left onto A4 (Bath Road). First right at traffic lights to mini-roundabout, turn right. Straight across traffic lights. Proceed until mini-roundabout. Turn left, take first right into Grove Road. Burnham Beeches Hotel is 200 metres on the right-hand side.
FROM M40
Exit J2 on A355 Southbound to Slough. After Farnham Sommon, turn right at the second of a pair of mini roundabouts onto Farnham Lane towards Burnham. Turn right at next mini-roundabout onto Britwell Road. Turn right after 100mt into Grove Road. Burnham Beeches Hotel is 200 metres on the right-hand side.
