Devonshire Fell Hotel - lovely place to stay.
A very enjoyable and relaxing stay at a superb hotel. Magnificent scenery all around and especially thanks to our upgrade to a suite with beautiful views. All staff were really helpful, kind and efficient. Thank you.
Wonderful Dales Break
From before our arrival, this has been an excellent experience. I wonder.. Can t say enough about the chef, Oliver, who made my stay, with a low, histamine diet, very easy he took time emailing with me and talking to providers to ensure that everything I ate was OK for me. The hotel is not so big so the staff know everyone and it s very warm, friendly atmosphere. It s in a perfect location for walking and the hotel. Have suggestions on maps for walks close to the hotel as part of the Devonshire group, we also got discounts at the Devonshire Arms and other local places , which I assume are on the estate. The only challenge booking on Country House was everything looked wonderful and there were some really good deals. I would recommend them any time and also the Devonshire Fells hotel. I would definitely return there and I hope I will. If you want more of a larger hotel experience, then I would stay at the Devonshire Arms, but frankly, having been there for lunch after our hotel, we were disappointed and happy to return to the Fells & the friendly staff. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a break and a smaller, more personal experience. Both hotels were very dog friendly or anyone looking to bring their pup!

Visit the picturesque village of Grassington, with its stunning scenery, history, great shops and tail waggingly good pubs. Further a-field market town of Skipton is a favourite destination among dog lovers. You and your four-legged friend will love wandering along the woodland nature trails at Bolton Abbey Estate. There are countless walks and adventures to be had in the Dales with your best furry friend in tow. After a long day exploring, we highly recommend The Narrow Boat Inn, which is a great pub serving good food, real ales and dogs are welcome inside out outside.
