Enjoyable and relaxing break
My wife and I had a very relaxing 3 day break in the Falcondale Hotel, very friendly and welcoming staff, excellent food, wonderful scenery in a lovely part of Wales and easy access to places of interest. A thoroughly enjoyable few days away.
Lovely stay
A lovely stay with friendly professional staff and good food and excellent service
Beautiful place - could do better
The grounds were fantastic (and yet there was very little encouragement for us to use them, in spite of asking for ideas for a walk). The house is beautiful and could feel like luxury with a bit more attention to detail. The young staff were friendly and willing but maybe lacking in training. It felt like a wedding hotel rather than a welcoming place (staff distracted by upcoming wedding, driven by process rather than customer service). Reception unstaffed most of the time and staff unapologetic on return. No wifi for duration of stay (despite young manager's efforts to connect us).
Supper great. Afternoon tea disappointing - certainly didn't taste homemade or particularly fresh.
