Five bedrooms fall into this category. Each is spacious enough for a writing table and chairs or sofa. Qazvin connects to Chota (a Standard Room) that makes it perfect for families.

There are three rooms at this level, that all have king-size beds which can be made up as twins. Lake is the quietest room in the house, Acorn is a very light room with a view of Rutland Water and Lotus enjoys the same view.

The two Master rooms, Middlehurst and Fern, are the two largest rooms in the house. Both feature king-size beds that can be made into twins. Middlehurst can be let in conjuction with Blue making it perfect for families.

In addition to the rooms in the main house, the Croquet Suite is adjacent to the hotel. The suite consists of a large king-sized double bedroom and splendid en-suite marble bathroom and a smaller double/twin bedded room with a bathroom on the half landing. At ground floor level a comfortable fully equipped sitting room and a breakfast room are provided.

Dine with Your Dog

Dogs can dine with you in the reception hall throughout the year by the roaring fire. Or, if you would rather leave your dog in the room, then dine in their award-winning restaurant – a haven for gourmets and wine lovers. Run by Michelin star chef Aaron Patterson, only the best local produce is used and the menu changes to suit the season.
