Unwind with some good food, fine ale and your four-legged friend by your side in Jack Hare's Bar at The Hare & Hounds. In the summer months, you and your pet can dine and drink outside. If you would like to try their Beaufort Restaurant, the hotel are happy for you to leave your pooch in your room to relax while you dine. All the seasonal menus at the restaurant are made using local produce and combine the best of British with some overseas infusions. If you like enjoying your morning coffee alongside Fido, breakfast for dogs and their owners are served in the Beaufort Lounge. For the days when you fancy venturing farther afield for your food, The Close Hotel in Tetbury is a 10-minute drive away and has a dog-friendly bar and lounge. In the Bar you'll also find a range of Caboodle Dog Meals to purchase for your dog.

relaxing beautiful hotel
Had a wonderful overnight stay in this hotel. The service was excellent and we felt very safe with the covid safety precautions they use and have installed throughout the premises. The bedroom was beautiful and the whole ambience of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. We would definitely recommend a stay in this hotel as the local area is a lovely place to visit.

An enjoyable stay
We'd stayed at the H&H before and this stay, with friends, was very enjoyable. Our bedroom was OK, but not particularly large or luxurious. The lounges are comfortable and spacious. The restaurant was well organised, particularly given Covid restrictions and the service good. The food was very good and we all enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. We hope to stay again in the future.
