Dine with Your Dog
Dogs are very welcome to dine with you in the bar area or may be left in the room whilst you dine in the 2AA Rosette restaurant with three adjoining, beautifully furnished rooms overlooking the gardens — The Stone Room, The Panelled Room and the Mullioned Room. Each offers a unique atmosphere, a lovely original fireplace and stone-mullioned windows to the outside world. Both the ?á la carte and bar menus are available. The restaurant buys its produce from Yorkshire suppliers and all meals are freshly made.

Lovely hotel
Lovely house and friendly staff, would definitely stay again. .
Beautiful hotel but .
First impressions were of a stunning Manor House with incredibly beautiful gardens. Picture box.
Our room was lovely with all needs catered for. Lovely helpful staff and the food was delicious.
However our stay coincided with a wedding which didn t necessarily intrude with noise as the reception was held in a next door building, but what spoiled it for us was the wedding guests that stayed over the previous day and day after. Quite loud at times, dealing with their children in the lounge area, turning it from a tranquil space for us into a busy atmosphere. Not what we booked the hotel for and it broke the romantic spell for us. Breakfast was spent looking at the wedding guests parading through the breakfast areas in their nightwear and basically spoiling the ambience of what were beautiful Jacobean rooms that we were looking forward to soaking up. I queried the nightwear with a young staff member and she just smiled and shrugged her shoulders as if it was a normal occurrence. We enjoyed our stay but it was definitely deflated by the wedding, maybe enquire on booking if there will be any weddings?
