Richmond has plenty of lovely dog-friendly walks from the door. From the Richmond Town Trail which takes you and your best furry friend around the main sites including Richmond Castle, the Batts Park next to the River Swale and past the Friary Galleries. Or there are longer walks including the spectacular Richmond Drummer Boy Walk which takes you down the River Swale bank via St Agatha’s Abbey and the old Railway Line. One of the loveliest walks is a linear walk from Easby Abbey to Richmond Castle.
