Idyllic getaway
Delightful staff, luxurious but comfortable rather than stuffy. Beautiful countryside and lovely pool, hot tub and spa. My only reservation is that the menu in the restaurant is fairly limited and you are obliged to have the set meal for £45 per person. Whilst it was absolutely delicious, with a bottle of wine (cheapest £24) it is quite pricey especially if you are staying for more than one night. There is nowhere near to have a pub meal or snacks.
Overall a fabulous place for a special treat
Enjoyable Mid Week Break
Weather not too clever but really enjoyed our stay for three nights .Lovely room facing the river. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant. Liked everything.
Relaxing stay
We had a relaxing stay the hotel is beautiful and is set in lovely grounds, The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was really nice although a little dated. We had a room which had double doors opening onto a small garden, which was great as we had two dogs. The spa was good and had good facilities the hot tub was great. Would certainly stay again.
