Welcome break in the Cotswolds
We enjoyed our stay at The Manor House. Parking was good; check in fine; delicious lunch; good quality evening meal and wines; very acceptable breakfast. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly.
In the bedroom we would have liked a herb tea option alongside the breakfast tea and coffee in the complimentary tray.
It was a shame that the bar didn't not stock local beers even though Hook Norton Brewery is very close by.
We would definitely stay again but would request a room that was not adjacent to the fire escape. The windows had not got any stops and we felt that to leave them open could have been unsafe - anyone could have gained entry via the fire escape. The result was that the room became hot and stuffy which was a disadvantage to an otherwise delightful stay.
February break
This is a very comfortable hotel with excellent facilities. We especially liked the beautiful garden and safe parking outside. As it was February the beautifully decorated library and snug were a bonus. The restaurant was excellent. Special
mention for the staff who were friendly and welcoming, in particular the lady on reception who tried her best to accommodate our bedroom requirements. Would have liked prior information about steps into bathroom. Not ideal for those with mobility issues. Would use this lovely hotel again.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Restaurant food very good. Barman does excellent cocktails. Hotel has lovely gardens and good relaxing atmosphere.
Hotel rooms are dissapointing for the price. Bedroom small and bathroom very very small. On line view of rooms misleading - you expect to get a large comfortable room but this is not what you get on arrival.

The room you booked was a Good Double, this is the hotel's entry level room, the pictures on our website of these rooms are accurate. We do have other pictures of larger rooms, but these are the hotel's upgraded rooms.
