Retreat to a Scottish Castle
My husband and I booked our stay in this glorious Scottish castle to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The setting was idyllic, so tranquil and peaceful and we were surrounded by stunning countryside just a few miles outside of Edinburgh. Our room was very spacious and grand, overlooking the castle s vast grounds and river. It felt luxurious, with great attention to detail and presentation and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel exuded character and charm and food and service in the restaurant were excellent and celebrated Scottish traditional cuisine and the best of local produce.
Superb Night away
From start to finish we had any excellent experience staff were so friendly, room was very castle like and we loved our room with peacock thyme, room was abit cold but it is January so to be expected, but staff fixed it as we when for dinner & drinks food superb as was the service. Breakfast was very disappointing for Luxury hotel but would definitely go back
