About this property

A fabulous holiday destination, dog-friendly Quaker Barn in North Norfolk is an understated dream of a cottage. With simple décor, the underfloor heating, wood burner and straw insulation make this cottage ideal to rent in both the winter and summer. Slightly smaller than its neighbour Hall Barn, Quaker Barn still makes for an idyllic stay in the country. Quaker Barns’ stunning conversions are set in the grounds of a 17th-century farmhouse in North Norfolk. Perfect for a break away with your furry friend, these south-facing properties have uninterrupted views, pretty gardens and country walks straight from the doorstep. The Norfolk Broads, coast and the city of Norwich are all within easy reach of the cottages so your four-legged friend can enjoy a little of the country, seaside, and city.

Dine with Your Dog

Hall Barn is a self-catering property which has a fully equipped kitchen including an oven, microwave, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is a lovely dining area and on arrival, you will find a welcome tea tray waiting for you. If you don’t fancy cooking – you are on holiday – there are several dog-friendly pubs within a 15-minute drive of Hall Barn.

Bow wow factor

Has to be its fantastic location in North Norfolk! Hall Barn is brilliantly situated for getting out and about to explore the county.

Bedrooms & Suites

Quaker Barn is a holiday cottage for up to eight people and has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. There are two en-suite double bedrooms plus a twin room which can accommodate a further two single beds on a raised platform accessed by a ladder, which children love. There is also a separate bathroom and utility room. This open-plan, split-level barn has an elevated dining area and kitchen, with views towards the kitchen garden. Steps lead down from the dining area to a sitting room with wood burner, and sliding doors then lead to a private, south-facing terrace and garden. For larger groups, rent Hall Barn alongside Quaker Barn which together can sleep up to 17 guests.

Dog-Friendly Nearby

Visit the hidden village of Heydon (one of Norfolk’s prettiest villages with an award-winning and dog-friendly pub); explore the magical woods and parkland of Blickling Estate – only 10 minutes away; stroll along the beautiful North Norfolk coast, or take a boat trip along the waterways of the Norfolk Broads National Park. The Marriott’s Way, a 26-mile foot and cycle path that follows the routes of two disused railway lines, is also only 10 minutes from Quaker Barns.
