Afterwards why not walk along and stop to enjoy an afternoon or early evening drink overlooking the harbour from the popular Nothe Tavern pub.
A few minutes from the property is, a great flat off road pedestrian / cycle path going from Weymouth to Portland, called the Rodwell trail. Over a 1000 climbing routes on Portland, this is just a 15 minutes car ride. Weymouth's main sandy beach is about a 10 minute walk away where its golden sands are great for building sandcastles and its shallow safe clean water is perfect for a paddle.
