Rothay Manor's 3AA Rosette restaurant serves nothing but freshly prepared and locally sourced dishes. The head chef Daniel has won Great British Menu and you'll enjoy flavours of Cumbria and places farther afield with the hotel's diverse menu. Furry friends can dine with you in the Brathay Lounge, but if your pooch would prefer to relax, however, they can stay in your room.

We are back again after COVID.
We have been coming occasionally to the Rothay Manor for over 20 years. We are always delighted with our stay and are happy to say that the standard has always remained at the highest level without fail. This is the hotel that we compare all others to, and despite staying at numerous quality hotels over Europe and the UK, we have yet to meeti its equal for the relaxed comfort and quality feel and exquisite dining.

This place is incredible! Thank you for such a relaxing and enjoyable stay!
Lovely three night stay
We chose this hotel for its fine dining and it didn t disappoint , although the menu doesn t change frequently and so three days was enough.
The rooms are large and very comfortable.
The staff are all friendly, attentive and welcoming
