The house also has separate living rooms, a games room equipped with table tennis and snooker tables and a Mediterranean-style part-covered patio and gated parking area. There is more than enough to keep everyone occupied outdoors, but for those indoor days the house is stocked with board games and puzzles, a dress-up box for the little ones, HD TV, Wi-Fi and a Wii with games.

Sit outside the St Mawes Bakery, which specializes in the famous Cornish saffron buns, or visit the renowned Tresanton Hotel for Sunday lunch on the terrace, with Fido in tow. For dinner, head to the St Mawes Hotel, where you can dine with your dog. Be sure to explore the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and take your dog on the ferry to Falmouth. Once there, visit Pendower Beach or Carne Beach, and don't forget to stop by the lovely Nare Hotel, where dogs are welcome on the terrace.
