We enjoyed our stay at the Swan very much indeed. Especially noteworthy was the friendly and helpful attitude of all the staff which made such a big difference. Car parking could have been a problem (especially given my partner's mobility difficulties) and I much appreciated the reception arranging a reserved parking plot close to the hotel. I apologise that I left behind a jacket and one or two other bits in the wardrobe but reception promptly drew it to my attention and kindly offered to send the stuff to my home. As of today however I have not received it.
One issue I might mention is the trip hazard that we felt exists on the first floor, just beyond the short set of stairs leading to room 16, where the staircase from the upper floor comes down: the bottom two steps which jut out into the passageway are carpeted with the same all-round dense pattern and the absence of any warning strip could easily cause someone to trip.

Friendly hospitality!
I booked two luxury nights at this hotel in the Cotswolds to celebrate my 80th birthday with a very good friend. Although little things niggled a bit, overall it was a more than scceptable stay - dinner was good with many different choices. All staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Parking is a bit of a nightmare but hotel reserved s space for us right outside the front door - this made it easier for me as I now need to use a stick! Recommended but suggest asking hotel to reserve a parking space. Management will assist if possible.
