Fabulous, fantastic, outstanding
A complete and great relaxing hotel and location.
Made to feel special the service and facilities are outstanding.
From our welcome to our departure, we were looked after impeccably.
A special thanks to Bogdan in the restaurant, a very helpful and professional member of staff.
The only small criticism was seeing very young children in the bar at 1900hrs being served drinks, only soft.
Causing me to wait to be served pre dinner drinks.
Otherwise first class.
Lovely little break
The perfect break for our baby moon. As I couldn t use many spa facilities while pregnant, it wasn t an issue for us that there wasn t lots of sauna / steam room options like some spas have. There was one sauna and a small hydro pool kept at 37 degrees.
We had a lovely relaxing weekend and luckily the weather played ball! Gorgeous grounds to take a walk in, and the food was spectacular!
Will definitely be going back for a little getaway once baby arrives as it s so close to London and easy to get to for just a short break.
Lovely staff, nice hotel but a shame we didn t get the view we paid for.
Taplow House is a really nice hotel. The staff were very attentive and friendly, however we were disappointed that our upgraded room didn t include the views of the gardens that we d paid for. We d upgraded to an executive room and were given a room with a view of a roof. This was queried with reception and they advised not all executive rooms have views of the gardens, so be warned!
The food was very good, the bar was ok (atmosphere a bit flat) and the spa was nice but a shame that the jacuzzi buttons weren t working for bubbles!
The staff had a look for us but said it wasn t fixable.
Overall a nice stay. If we ever want to visit Windsor again we would consider staying here again.

How to get here
Leave at junction 7 of the M4 sign-posted Slough West & Maidenhead. Turn left onto A4 towards Maidenhead. Continue towards Maidenhead (ignore signs for Taplow) and at the third set of traffic lights turn right onto Berry Hill (BMW & Mini garages are located on either side of the road). Follow the road for 150 yards and Taplow House is on the right hand side.
