When the weather is feeling kind, venture out onto the terrace to enjoy your food overlooking the beautiful grounds. If it's just some drinks and light bites you're after, Berry's Bar, home to a roaring fire and a collection of delicious cocktails, offers a cosy sanctuary for you and your canine companion. Please note, booking a table in the restaurant in advance would be advisable.

Not worth the money
Champagne wasn't cold on arrival and in a bucket of melted ice. Hairs on the bed sheets. Terrible stain on the mattress. Very dusty by plug sockets and lights. Poor lighting. Food was barely edible, unable to prepare us cocktails. Breakfast wasn't much better, didn't get offered any fruit juices, no pastries as stated on the menu. Coffee was very poor. Only positive about the stay were the staff, they were very pleasant. This wasn't a luxury romantic break I had hoped for. Very disappointed. Would not stay again or book through country hotel breaks. Had nicer and cleaner rooms at a budget hotel chain.
In need of good management.
Hotel in beautiful surroundings. Reception staff ok. Room small but clean, very noisy though as door did not fit very well so corridor light coming in as well. On suite ok but toilet seat sliding around, reported this and staff tried to fix it but not very successful. Told us maintenance staff would be there in morning.
Staff polite but obviously new and in need of training. Service in restaurant extremely slow, same waitress came back and asked us three times what we wanted for desert - we expected Basil Faulty to arrive at any moment! . Food was very nice when we finally got it.
Breakfast was unbelievably slow, staff kept apologising. Not enough tables for everyone. No one seemed to really know what they were doing. Apart from one young women who was trying to make sure all guests were ok it was total bedlam.Couple of guests almost gave up as they had to check out!
This hotel is in serious need of good management, it is very expensive for what it delivers (doesn t deliver). A real pity as there are so many nice things about the place that could make it a perfect venue.
Not worth the money no luxury involved
Dreadful poor standard Rooms dated with lots of issues . Food expensive and some of it was inedible suggest you check hotels on your site as have had issues before will never use your site again . You could call it false advertising

How to get here
Leave at junction 7 of the M4 sign-posted Slough West & Maidenhead. Turn left onto A4 towards Maidenhead. Continue towards Maidenhead (ignore signs for Taplow) and at the third set of traffic lights turn right onto Berry Hill (BMW & Mini garages are located on either side of the road). Follow the road for 150 yards and Taplow House is on the right hand side.
