Location & Local Attractions
As the ancient capital of Dorset, Sherborne is rich in history and culture and a quintessential West Country town to stroll through with your pooch. While your canine companion may not be as interested as you in all the boutique shops, fashions, art and antiques on offer they will most certainly enjoy a scamper around the grounds of the ancient Abbey and the medieval Castle. A little further afield are the National Trust sites of Stourhead, Montacute House and Tintinhull Gardens. If your pooch likes the beach Dorset's Jurassic coast is within easy reach.
