Has to be its fabulous Cotswold location! Surrounded by eight acres of gorgeous grounds, it's a doggie paradise!
All bedrooms are immaculately furnished with a unique mix of a traditional country manor and stylish, boutique decor. Original wooden furniture and vibrant, soft furnishings have been blended together to create the feeling of a lavish home from home. Expect ensuite bathrooms with luxury toiletries, flatscreen TVs with Freeview and fabulous countryside estate views. Dog beds and bowls are provided for your furry friend on arrival to help them settle in. All guests have complimentary access to the Elan Spa facilities when booking any 55-minute treatment. A charge of £25.00 per person, per day (bookable in advance) will be charged to the individual guests wishing to use the facilities without a treatment booking. Robes, towels and slippers will be provided for the guests' comfort. This will be valid for use between our stated arrival time of 3.00pm and departure time of 11.00am

Great stay
Booked a 2 night stay with first night D/B/B and 2nd night B&B in a Feature room (12) via Off Peak Booked Luxury.
Got there OK but completely missed the actual entrance due to concentrating on SatNav instructions and going up Greenway Lane ! This is very narrow, full of potholes, and ends up at, what looks a temporary gravel car park. Wandered around the path in the garden and went through the door to the bar and got to reception. And then you can see the real car park outside of the front door ! The actual long drive to the front of the hotel is immediately next to Greenway Lane and is NOT Greenway Lane. My own fault.
Staff all were excellent. The lady who was on reception and checked us in, poured us drinks in the bar, checked us out was excellent. Restaurant staff excellent.
Room (12) was large and very comfortable. 2nd floor and only one room (14) past it so not any numbers of people needing to go past at night or early morning. Superking bed, sofa, 2 armchairs, small round table plus a coffee table, dresser & mirror. Large bathroom with good Rain shower.
Small bar (not too small) and nice, comfy lounge. For the summer there s also plenty of seating outside.
Had dinner in the restaurant first night where the service, as mentioned, was excellent. The food was very nice, well presented and tasty. 67.50PP included in the offer price which was 2 nights totalling 655 DBB + BB. Online the DBB rate for one night only was/is 495 ! Breakfast both days was good and, yet again, excellent, efficient & friendly service.
It s a very nice, charming, comfortable hotel with great staff and nice grounds. You can easily get into Cheltenham (or Gloucester) by bus in around 15 minutes and avoid the hassle and difficulty of city centre Parking because the bust stops are just outside of the entrance on the main road.
OH, and it has a busy Spa. We ve no idea what that s like because we never ventured into there !
A wonderful birthday retreat
From the moment we arrived, we were treated exceptionally well by the wonderful staff at the hotel. Our room was stunning?, the food was excellent, as was the spa. The champagne was soon flowing and we celebrated in style. Special mention for the 2 waiters from Sri Lanka. So friendly and professional. The hotel was central for everywhere we wanted to visit. I had a wonderful birthday. Massive thanks to you all
Cotswolds trip
This was our first trip to the Cotswolds and this hotel was perfect for everything we wanted to do - a bit of exploring, some much needed relaxation, and delicious food.
