There is a short path you can take directly to the beach to enjoy a seaside walk or catching the sun while relaxing on the beach, beach towels are provided during your stay.
There is lots to do nearby, offering entertainment for everyone. There is often an interesting event happening along Poole Harbour. You can get a boat from Poole to Brown Sea island, a National trust site with an abundance of wildlife including red squirrels. At Tower Park there is Splashdown - a water park, a cinema and a bowling alley, as well as a variety of restaurants. You can get the ferry from Poole to Studland to visit Swanage with its steam train that goes to Corfe Castle. Corfe is a pretty village with the ruins of a thousand year old castle. Bournemouth is nearby where you can visit the Oceanarium, the Bournemouth Eye, beautiful gardens, mini-golf, a theatre and there are a variety of events throughout the year. Why not head to the New Forest National Park with its free roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys and enjoy fantastic walks in the woodlands.
