Perfect Setting
The minute you drive up to this hotel you can see the history. Next to Abbey it is stunning. Staff at hotel cannot do enough for you and will go the extra if required. Walks around the area are a delight.
Food and service was good and selection despite Covid restrictions good and wholesome. One observation and I suspect will be looked at is lack of shelving in bathroom. This was a excellent smart bathroom but no where to put your personal items. We would certainly use this Hotel again
Beautiful hotel
Such a pretty looking exterior and the interior certainly has a wow factor. Opulent materials everything is top notch quality oozing luxury. We had a suite with a roll top bath, which was lovely! Well pleased!
I think the restaurant is overrated, my starter of red tuna was pretty tasteless as was my turbot and my pie had a soggy bottom, Mary would not approve! My husband is not a fan of chipstick chips.
The hotel is very clean and staff very attentive. We went to read the papers after breakfast and the person making coffee at breakfast came to ask if we wanted more coffee, a nice touch , I was impressed !!
Brilliant night away
