You and your dog will love exploring the famous beaches of Polzeath, Daymer Bay or St Ives or taking your dog for a walk along the Camel trail. But where to stay? We’ve rounded up some truly dog-friendly cottages, beach houses as well as luxury villas in wonderful beachside and rural settings where your dog will be as welcome as you are.

Polpier House, Cornwall
Polpier is the ultimate luxury pet party pad and makes entertaining a large group a complete breeze! Dog-friendly Penolva has a gorgeous coastal setting between St Mawes Castle and the dog-friendly Hotel Tresanton. The house is one of very few in St Mawes with a water frontage. Its name means “lookout on the Headland” and it really does have the most magnificent uninterrupted 180 degree sea views. Built in the 1960s by yachting enthusiast and friend of the Queen Mother, Dick Wilkins, members of the royal family often visited Wilkins coming ashore from the Royal yacht, Britannia. Newly renovated and beautifully decorated with squashy sofas and baby grande piano, it is spacious and light with extensive grounds and terraces – the perfect house for a luxurious seaside escape with your best furry friend in tow.
The Eco Lodges at Una St Ives, Cornwall
