We all adore our four legged furry friends. They make us feel safe, keep us calm in stressful situations, and of course make the most loving and wonderful companions. But have you ever wondered whether the dogs of our nation actually prefer the tennis ball or the Frisbee? Do crunchy biscuits or juicy bones win in the contest for most desirable treat?
Well, our friends at Guide Dogs want to find out the answers to these burning questions and more! The Great British Dog Survey 2017 is your chance to give your dog a voice and get them involved in a brilliant nationwide canine census.
Is your loveable pooch well known for destroying new slippers? Or are they an expert at digging up your gorgeous garden lawn? Not only does this survey allow you to spill the beans on your dog’s cheekiest habits, you’ll be able to see how they compare to other pooches up and down the country! Last year, the results showed that Lancashire owned the most pet dogs…so where will your county place in 2017?
The Great British Dog Survey is incredibly fun to fill in, but it’s also important. Your answers will provide a unique insight into what makes the dogs of Great Britain tick. Or rather, what makes their tails wag. A better understanding of British hounds can then help Guide Dogs in all their work raising puppies to become the extraordinary guide dogs you see on the street. Imagine that, your pet has the power to help future guide dogs truly transform the lives of those living with sight loss.
Finally, if all that is not enough, by taking part you’ll be automatically entered into a free prize draw with the chance to win some fantastic goodies for you and your hound! Up for grabs this year is a fabulous photoshoot with incredible pet photographer Rachel Oates, a hamper full to the brim of Royal Canin treats and a £200 voucher to spend on a dog-friendly holiday with us!
What are you waiting for? On your barks, get set…go!
