Shambles
Whilst it had all the makings of a pleasant place, our stay was a shambles from start to finish. From the welcome drink, to two single beds pushed together as a double that you constantly fell down, broken sauna, room not ready when it should have been, no vegan menu provided despite promising, treatments all moved to different days, really nothing went right. Everything was clean and nicely decorated but the experience was terrible, despite the staff being lovely. I would certainly never return.
Staff helpful and really nice but restaurant staff were not fully trained.
Hotel was OK, room was a bit dark and was not part of the original building which was disappointing
The restaurant was OK and staff very pleasant but we're not fully trained. It reminded us of Faulty-Towers. Lots of mistakes and blunders. Also, the background using was local radio, especially when dining in the evening, you don't need travel updates.
Overall we enjoyed pur stay but it was lacking I'm areas.
Well earned breakaway for 4
Great package through OPL at a lovely hotel. It is, however, very expensive due to food supplements, drinks etc but if you re ok with that, you ll enjoy a break at a pretty hotel just 15 minutes drive from Windsor. The swimming pool is really small as is the bar but we were lucky with the weather and enjoyed time out on the lawn.
