A really good relaxing couple of days/nights
Lumley Castle Stay
Wonderful building. Good spacious room with everything you need.
Food excellent. Enjoyed meeting Poppet, the castle cat.
Stunning Castle
Very welcoming staff on reception, room was in courtyard and was warm and well presented. Food was good but not outstanding.
Our only niggle was given choice of eating at 6.30 or 8pm. We chose 8pm but looked in at restaurant at 6.30 and not one person was in, and at the later time was only a handful of people, it wasn't as if a large group or party was taking place.
Surroundings where spectacular and staff happy to let us have a look around.
