All generally good and relaxing
Another easy chair in the bedroom would have been good as a small fridge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lumley Castle. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant staff were ultra friendly and efficient.
The accommodation was of a high quality but we would rather have preferred to stay in the main part of the castle.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
Superb short stay
A superb setting with spacious rooms.The reception staff gave us some advice as to the best areas to visit on the coast too.
To be fair the weather helped . It was warm & not windy for the time of the year. We chose to go to the coast on our full day & even the north sea was blue !!
