A Great 3 Days
It was a wonderful 3 days, where the staff did everything to make this a welcoming and relaxing break. The service was careful and attentive, without being intrusive. There was clearly a great deal of effort that went into making everything near perfect, so that we could honestly say we had a wonderful time.
The only areas I would be slightly critical of was the room, very comfortable and well provided for, but it was very dark and needed some brighter lighting. The second was the food. One pasta meal I enjoyed so much I had it twice. The first time it was perfect, but the second time it was clearly reheated, pasta stuck together and other parts broken up into smaller pieces. Tasted good but poorly presented. More care needed. Despite that, I would stay there again.
Great Getaway!
Lovely room with a view, very quiet We stayed in The Bishops Suite. Very spacious two bathrooms and a sitting room, lovely period bedroom with a four poster bed. We loved it for our Anniversary.
Meal in the restaurant was lovely and the breakfast was fab, good selection of hot and cold, it made our stay. So relaxing would definitely stay again.
