AMBIENCE
One of the friendliest hotels, run by the most charming staff. The ambience was superb. The bar area was a little tired, but seriously efficient bar staff. If they had roaring fires in that wet deluge we encountered, we would never have ventured out of Lumley Castle!!
Lovely Lumley
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Lumley. Very welcoming, there were plenty of staff in all parts of the hotel to attend to our needs in a friendly, helpful manner. The quality of the hotel shone through in all respects. A minor point is that we felt there was too much furniture for the size of the room, removal of an armchair would probably be enough to create a little more space.
Short break
I stayed at Lumly Castle Hotel with a group of friends for a short break. Lovely staff and food. Found the drinks to be quite expensive, but all in all a very pleasant stay.
