With 250-year-old oak panelling and an original Inglenook fireplace, Byron Bar is the ideal spot to unwind. Tuck into delicious food from their lunch and evening menus using fresh and local ingredients, including locally sourced fish, a range of succulent burgers, as well as mouth-watering Halloumi from the grill.
Within the bar, you can also opt for a tasty afternoon tea together, featuring a selection of finger sandwiches, homemade sultana scones with compote and berry preserve, as well as a lovely taster cake selection. All complimented with a pot of Yorkshire Tea or fresh Columbian Coffee.

Easy Access from A1
Nice hotel, lovely friendly staff, room comfortable and clean, big walk in shower. Easy access from A1. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly, starters were delicious, main course carvery was not that good, have had better in many pubs. The meat and veg were over cooked and not particularly hot but the very generous glasses of red wine helped ease the disappointment! Maybe the A-la carte menu would be better.
