Lovely break with helpful staff
Very nice hotel with good food. The staff were exceptional. If I had to be picky, the settees inside and outside are worn out and some debris in the rain channels surrounding the outside dining area. I loved the pool and jacuzzi which overlooks the golf course and surrounding hills.
Nice stay but
My partner and I went to Dartmouth Hotel during the Christmas break. We have a lovely stay but we haven't been given the 10% discount on the treatments that has been promise from country breaks at the time of the booking with them.
That really was disappointing especially when I make the asiatic woman at the Spa reception aware. She didn't want to give it to us. Instead she just give us 10% on the body cream that I took. We spent 100 almost on the treatments for myself and my partner and she thinking to make me happy to take off 5 from the cream that I purcused with them.
Also to book the treatments it was a nightmare. I have try to contact them before our stay as we meant to book before the treatment and for days they didn't reply to either of my emails or calls but also at the calls of my partner . The website wasn't working for same reason so it was difficult to book the treatments. At the end I manage to book the treatments online but that was not option for me to took of the 10% off promised.
Reguardig the treatments Becca is amazing and experienced in what she is doing. My partner and I had both " I will be back". I do raccomend this treatment. You should see your skin after the treatment!!
Reguardig the restaurant we have our lovely meal on the 30th it was really tasty and nice.
The staff were really helpful.
We would like go back at this hotel but we will think about it as I think that part of a good service is respect what as been promise at the time of the booking.
Dartmouth Spa and Hotel Stay
The rooms were spacious though were looking a bit tired in places. Due to staffing issues no daily room service, if we required anymore tea etc just had to ask and quickly delivered.
The spa facilities were excellent and we enjoyed the restaurant.
Location a bit away from Dartmouth town centre and need a car. When we went was quiet in town and able to find free parking.
Had a very enjoyable 5 days.
