Summary Alde Barn is a luxury dog-friendly cottage in the beautiful Suffolk countryside. With a rustic farmhouse style throughout, think winding handmade timber staircases and high-vaulted ceilings. Immerse yourself in its peaceful environment, outside the cottage there's a fully enclosed private garden with its own private luxury hot tub, as well as a patio area where you can enjoy an al-fresco breakfast or a delicious BBQ. Country canines will love the two-acre fully secure meadow to roam in and there's also a smaller section for dogs that are a little nervous. There are fabulous walks to enjoy from the doorstep, plus the pretty Suffolk Coast is just 30-minutes away. The cottage even provides bikes for you to use during your stay if you want to leave the car behind. The kitchen area leads into a cosy living room where the whole family can watch a film next to the log burning fire after a day of walking and exploring with your canine companion! Inside the Alde Barn As you step into the Alde Barn you'll find a farmhouse style kitchen-diner. The space features a pretty antique wooden dining table next to a stable door that leads out onto the garden area, perfect for those sunny days & providing easy access to the outdoors for you & your pooch. When the weather is nice, open up the door for a lovely airy start to the day! The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of work space, a fitted cooker with ceramic hob, belfast sink, microwave and fridge, kettle, four slice toaster and a superb Nespresso coffee machine and coffee capsules. The kitchen leads through to the intimate living area with a comfy sofa, smart TV for cosy nights in, and a lovely log burning fire for colder nights. This room has high ceilings, huge exposed oak beams and a hand-made timber staircase that winds up to the charming mezzanine double bedroom - it's brimming with character. On the ground floor is a shower room on the ground floor with a good sized powerful fixed rose 'watering can' style shower, loo and hand basin with luxury hand soap, as well as a heated towel rail. Step outside into your large enclosed private garden laid mainly to lawn, with a patio and BBQ with table and chairs for Al Fresco dining. There is also a covered Garden Room with your own, huge private Hot Tub! The enclosed garden and oak floors make this barn extremely dog-friendly. The barn is surrounded by mature trees, a pond and a water feature, creating a peaceful little environment to relax in and a great spot to watch the sunset. On the farm there is a large and fully secured two acre meadow for (two- and four-legged) guests to run around in. This is a shared area, and may give your furry friends a chance to play with our four-legged guests. Alongside the meadow is an enclosed lawn/paddock. There is also a lovely communal decked area overlooking the pond for when you feel sociable or just want to enjoy the sunset. There is plenty of off-road parking nearby. The barn is located down a country lane, just a short walk from the village, with free bikes and Wi-Fi. The charming cottage nestled on the edge of the village of Stonham Aspal at the gateway to the Suffolk Tourist Route to Southwold, Thorpeness, Dunwich Heath, Walberswick, Aldeburgh and Orford.
