Relaxing get away
Lovely rooms, poor food and restaurant.

Food poor, no gluten free sausages or bread for breakfast despite telephoning hotel informing them of gluten allergy. Evening meal choice poor veggie choice was vegan tai curry or potato gnocchi which eas tasteless and spinach was unwashed and gritty told staff but nothing happened. Gluten free chips had to be oven cooked as no facility to fry them,a small fryer could have been used for this purpose advice is available from coeliac uk andIf this is a best Western plus they should ask for help as a company I would have though. The corridor outside our room smelt damp and worsened as time went on they had obviously had a leak but no explanation given. I would not say this was best Western plus standard at all and if not for the good deal we had from off peak leisure would have made a serious complaint directly to them. I hope it improves greatly as my great nephew gets married there next year.
