Exellent hotel with friendly staff
I had previously booked this hotel but had to cancel due to covid. Jade on reception was very helpful and went out of her way to ensure that I was not charged for cancellation.
All staff friendly and helpful.
One uplighter not working but fixed within an hour of reporting it.
The shower was excellent.
All food was good.
Ver good budget hotel
On arriving we had a very good welcome although we were very early. Lunch in the bar was very pleasant as the wide windows gave a nice view of the garden. Our room was ready on time and proved to be quite large with all facilities complete. The whole stay (2 nights) was very pleasant and we would highly recommend the hotel for a short stay. Mosborough is not a tourist place, with very little to see, although it has a very good modern coffee shop & bar, They don't do meals but you are able to go to the sandwich (made to order) shop across the road & consume them in the bar. All together a pleasant experience.
Pretty good for the price.
The hotel is in the outer suburbs of Sheffield and there are no obvious alternative facilities nearby. The location is fairly quiet, but is a popular venue for weddings and wedding receptions and such occasions are usually - shall we say - joyous (noisy) well into the evening especially if many of the guests are booked to stay overnight.
Our room was spacious and clean with all the normal facilities and accessories.
On our 2nd evening we asked in the bar at around 19:00 if sandwiches were still available and told "No". The consensus amongst other staff the following morning was that they should have been available. The bar menu itself was seriously ambiguous on the point. Service at dinner was good and all the staff were friendly and helpful but it seems there is a shortage of staff. Breakfast was perfectly adequate but, to be frank, not as good as the one we had at the Premier Inn in Worksop a week earlier.
