One dog welcome
The super dog-friendly Budock Vean Hotel has been family owned and run by the Barlow family for over 30 years. It has been a hotel since the 1930s, and was requisitioned during World War II as Officers’ quarters. The history of the site goes back to Celtic times when a small religious centre was on the site of the current hotel around 800AD. The hotel is set in 65 acres of grounds, with gardens and woodland leading down to their private Helford River frontage. It’s just a 10-minute walk to the coast path with wonderful routes to follow with amazing views. There are year round dog-friendly coves, and nearby Trebah Gardens and the Ferryboat Inn are both dog-friendly. This is a great base to get out and enjoy nature with your dog.
