Summary Nestled in the trees in the Sussex countryside, dog-friendly Gipping barn is a doggy haven! This barn features impressive oak beams and a gorgeous handmade timber staircase. During the Winter months, snuggle up to the log burning fire with your dog and enjoy a film. If that isn't relaxing enough, wind down in the hot tub in the private enclosed garden! Roam the secure two-acre meadow with your furry friend or enjoy the fabulous Suffolk scenery on your doorstep and the pretty Suffolk Coast is just 30-minutes away. The cottage even provides bikes for you to use during your stay if you want to leave the car behind and take in the fresh countryside air! Inside the Gipping Barn As you step into the Gipping Barn you'll find a farmhouse style kitchen-diner. The space features a pretty antique wooden dining table next to a stable door that leads out onto the garden area, perfect for those sunny days & providing easy access to the outdoors for you & your pooch. When the weather is nice, open up the door for a lovely airy start to the day! The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of work space, a welsh dresser, a kitchen range cooker, belfast sink, microwave and fridge, kettle and four slice toaster. The kitchen leads through to the living area with a comfy sofa, smart TV for cosy nights in, and a lovely log burning fire for colder nights. This room has high ceilings, huge exposed oak beams and a hand-made timber staircase that winds up to the charming mezzanine double bedroom - it's brimming with character. The view from the mezzanine is stunning, you can look over the landscaped gardens and waterfall. On the ground floor is a well organised luxurious shower room on the ground floor with a good sized powerful fixed rose 'watering can' style shower, loo and hand basin with luxury hand soap, as well as a heated towel rail. The Gipping Barn is semi-detached with the Orwell Barn. The enclosed garden and oak floors make this barn extremely dog-friendly. The barn is surrounded by mature trees, a pond and a water feature, creating a peaceful little environment to relax in and a great spot to watch the sunset. On the farm there is a large and fully secured two acre meadow for (two- and four-legged) guests to run around in. This is a shared area, and may give your furry friends a chance to play with our four-legged guests. Alongside the meadow is an enclosed lawn/paddock for dogs that are 'long in the tooth' or shy and nervous. There is also lovely communal decked area overlooking the pond for when you feel sociable or just want to enjoy the sunset. There is plenty of off-road parking in nearby. The barn is located down a country lane, just a short walk from the village, with free bikes and Wi-Fi. The charming cottage nestled on the edge of the village of Stonham Aspal at the gateway to the Suffolk Tourist Route to southwold, Thorpness, Dunwich Heath, Walberswick, Aldeburgh and Orford.
