Amazing Valentine's Package!!
Booked a Valentine's Package through a discount website and it was incredible!! From our arrival onwards the quality of the experience was perfect. I had read reviews which mentioned the neighbouring building work, but it had no effect on the superb luxury we experienced. We grabbed a space in the on-site car park, and headed in with our bags. We booked our newspapers for each morning during check-in, and were very helpfully reminded of our dinner time for that evening. A really lovely bottle of champagne was chilling in our room on arrival. Our room was so sumptuous! A huge bed was positioned with a view, straight out through two large windows all the way down to the sea and stunning coastline beyond. It was heavenly. The bathroom was well appointed with loads of towels, all kinds of lotions and soap dispensers, and a really hot and effectively flowing shower which was easy to use. There was a bath too, but we never used it! Loads of storage space and a large wardrobe helped us to move in easily! We had a stunning dinner in the restaurant, the presentation of each course was amazing, the food looked and tasted incredible! We had an amazing bottle of wine with it too, the waiter had great knowledge to help us make an informed decision. We used the gym on both days, it was busy, but there was a fairly constant cycle of people through so never had to wait to use any equipment. The gym was well appointed with some excellent machines. The weights area and some of the barbells were a bit tired looking, but they are due a massive refit soon so I have no doubt this will be sorted! The swimming pool was nice, sauna and steam room huge and lots of room. The pool area again was on the whole a bit tired looking, it was however very clean and tidy so once again when the refurb comes this will be a great space! My fiance had a 30 minute back massage and she really loved, value too.
On the whole, the experience was near perfect, we will definitely be back soon, and it was such a great place to relax after I popped the question - she really felt spoilt! We ate sandwiches both days in the bar area for lunch, and the quality of the food and the faultless service was excellent. Go here, it's awesome!!
