Enjoyable Stay in Lavenham
Firstly, the system worked very smoothly. The champagne was ready in the room, we had the Cream tea on the second day, and the billing was seamless and accurate.
The staff were pleasant and helpful and there seemed to be plenty of them apart from the bar area where the poor barman was at times overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of customers. I thought the food in the restaurant was good and the breakfast choice was one of the best I have encountered having spent this last year staying in Michelin restaurants with rooms all over the country.
It was of course a very old place and the floors and walls were a bit wobbly but to be expected.The location was on a corner surrounded by three roads but there was only minimal traffic noise
