An excellent two-night stay marred only by slow service at dinner
Service was very attentive. The half empty bottle of champagne left in our room was given a fresh ice bucket without us having to ask. The food was gourmet standard and innovatively presented so that one may have any dish as a starter or a main course. Because it was quite new, the kitchen had not got to grips with it and service was ridiculously slow. Our drinks bill was cancelled to make up for it.
Breakfast as good as any with Suffolk kipper on the bone very cheerfully served by Ruby.

Really enjoyed our stay. Excellent food and accommodation . Just a bit cool in room
Welcome at reception a little cool as told very quickly we could not check in. We were too early.
But above all a great stay would go again.
