Great hotel
Staff are attentive and helpful
Our stay at the Swan, Lavenham
This was a special trip for my husband's 70th Birthday and we were treated very well with lovely friendly staff. When we required help it was cheerfully given . The heatwave did give us some problems as the bedroom was really warm but there was a fan provided. The food and the service were both excellent.
Traditional hotel in a village full of attractive medieval houses - ideal for a romantic stay
The Swan Hotel really has it all. A traditional Suffolk timber framed building with oak beams galore, a splendid galleried dining room offering an interesting and varied menu, a Spa and very comfortable rooms. The staff could not have been more helpful, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The location is excellent being only a short stroll from Lavenham s Market Square and the splendid Guildhall building and the village has a wide range of medieval timber framed houses.
Ideal for a romantic get-away at any age! I should add that there is no lift.
