Very comfortable, great food and very friendly and helpful staff. Small problem immediately dealt with by capable staff. Look forward to another visit
Mid-Week break
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the Swan in Lavenham is an ideal base for touring Suffolk. Meals from the restaurant were of good quality and quantity, this was somewhat spoilt on the first night of our stay, 29th June, when the service was extremely slow, hours for a 3 course meal. Our bedroom (No26) could not be described as " Luxurious", adequate would be more appropriate. When I made the booking, I was advised that the price was based on a "Standard Bedroom", but we would be upgraded, I'm not certain if we received an upgrade.
Lovely Stay
Had a wonderful stay at the Swan. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The spa was definitely worth a visit, there was a great choice of treatments and it was a very relaxing atmosphere.
The spa girls really knew their stuff and made you feel at ease straight away. Wonderful welcome and was shown to our room by Peter who was a font of knowledge about the Hotel and was very pleasant. Would thoroughly recommend the afternoon tea!
