The Swan at Lavenham Hotel & Spa

Very relaxing stay

First time I have stayed at The Swan at Lavenham and we will definitely be back. The helpful staff, the relaxed nature of the whole hotel and the quality of food served in the restaurant all made my wife and I very relaxed. It was a wedding anniversary treat and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Check in was very easy and each guest individually was shown to their room. We had a vast room with lovely facilities. The beds were super comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We ordered flowers to celebrate our anniversary and although there was a slight delay in them arriving them were definitely worth the wait! Food in the restaurant was excellent. The deal we got was also very competitive. Parking is a bit difficult - the hotel car park (in the grounds) is small but you can park about 100 yards away at the back of a local store. We parked in a side street and that seemed OK. We will definitely be back to enjoy the superb service and ambience of such a lovely hotel.

We loved our stay. So welcoming and relaxing. The food and spa experience was exceptional. Can't wait to return.

Excellent stay

We spent 3 nights for my wife s birthday, what a wonderful stay, the staff were very attentive, the food was fantastic, the room was very nice although being close to the road could be a bit noisy. We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon tea on my wife s birthday and Lala and Dennis treated her to a rendition of happy birthday, it was a very nose gesture. The food in the Gallery restaurant was second to one with a wide variety of choices on the extensive menu at both breakfast and dinner. All in all we had a fantastic 3 nights, it was a shame that the spa, although open to use, there were no staff available for sessions to be had, I had promised my wife a massage session but it was not to be. Although this was a disappointment it did not affect the stay.
