About this property

The Roseate Villa Bath is a luxury dog-friendly boutique hotel that occupies a quiet corner just a moment’s walk from the heart of the city of Bath, Somerset. The Villa overlooks Henrietta Park, a 7-acre park opened to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria of 1897. An oasis of tranquillity, Henrietta Park offers many places to sit quietly or take a relaxing stroll around the circular walk amongst many fine trees and flora with your canine companion by your side. The Roseate offers undivided attention to its guests with everything that the city has to offer, whether it is the tour of the Roman Baths and Regency Crescent or the views of Prior Park, Jane Austen Museum and the grandeur of Bath Abbey. A warm welcome with tea and cakes, immaculate hospitality, attention to detail and a genuine connection with every guest makes their experience a very memorable one.

Dine with Your Dog

The Villa does not offer in-house dining, however, the City of Bath is super doggie-friendly and offers a host of lovely pubs that welcome pets, to include The Marlborough Tavern, The Boater and Frampton's to name a few. The Villa hosts a private garden for guests to relax and enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea.

Bow wow factor

Must be the special ‘woof’ box on arrival complete with Lily’s Kitchen and a tennis ball to play with at Henrietta Park, opposite the hotel! Comfy beds and bowls are also provided.

Dog-Friendly Nearby

The hotel’s gorgeous border terrier, Muttley, knows all the best walks and things to do in the area! He recommends Henrietta Park which lies opposite the Villa - perfect for a short stroll with your canine companion. For a longer hike, Bath Skyline walk takes in the most spectacular views of the city. Just a five-minute stroll from the Villa will take you to the Kennet and Avon canal where you can walk to Bathampton or Bradford on Avon. In the summer months, take the boat trip out from the Pulteney Weir. A sightseeing tour of Bath can be enjoyed with your pooch as the buses for the inner city and outer city tour are both dog-friendly. The team at The Roseate Villa Bath is also on hand to recommend many dog-friendly places to eat and drink.
