Would not stay at Wotton House again
Our room was very spacious and our Prosecco and chocolates were in our room upon arrival- sadly there was no heating available to us in the room which got very cold. We asked for the radiators to be turned on but it never happened and they brought a very ineffective mobile heater which blew the electrics and then they brought us another ineffective mobile heater. Also due to water maintenance there was no water in our room on the Monday (we had been pre-warned about this).
I really feel the cold room was a disgrace and it spoiled what could have been a pleasant stay. I slept in my jumper to stay warm which is totally unacceptable especially as this was meant to be a treat and was not a cheap two nights away.

Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback regarding your stay, we are pleased you enjoyed the spacious room, prosecco and chocolates. We apologise for the issue concerning the heating. Our main heating had not turned on yet for the colder months and therefore had the mobile heaters instead, however we are sorry to hear this was not effective throughout your stay. We will pass your valuable feedback on to our maintenance department and general manager to improve in the future. In the meantime, if you find yourself returning to the Surrey Hills in the future. Wotton House can be easily accessed by the M25, the M3 South, the A24 East, and the A3 from London. Parking is extensive and free for guests of the hotel.

Start your morning with a stop in Dorking, browse the antique shops of West Street before sipping coffee in one of the quaint cafes. Driving through beautiful Surrey countryside and villages head to Shere Village, which has featured in several Hollywood movies (including 'The Holiday' and 'Bridgette Jones' Diary', after exploring the village enjoy a pub lunch, afternoon tea or an ice cream at Shere Delights!
After checking-in, pop on a pair of hunter wellies and head out on a walk around the gardens and through the estate on one of the local walking routes. Or, relax on the 1877 Bar terrace with cocktails and views over the gardens, followed by a delicious dinner in our 1877 Restaurant.
After a peaceful night's sleep and a breakfast feast, head to Newlands Corner for a morning walk and stunning views of the Surrey Hills. At the bottom of the hill learn about gin making and sample some of their award-winning gin with a distillery tour at Silent Pool Gin Distillery.
Pick up a picnic in Dorking before heading to Polesden Lacey or, visit RHS Wisley and explore their world-class gardens. Freshen up, then, as the sun sets, stroll up the drive to the Wotton Hatch Pub for dinner.
