What went on at Wotton
Beautiful setting with weather dependent walks.
Different areas to relax within the hotel - bar, morning room, sitting areas, pool.
Jacuzzi is out of order, if we had known would have probably booked a different hotel.
Restaurant food very nice, but same menu each night. Menu changes each month.
Staff are lovely and welcoming and helpful.
Room was nice. Bathroom was gorgeous. Bed configuration was different to what we requested. Remedied immediately by housekeeping, but took shine off from getting away having to ask people to do things.
Lots of noise from an evening event with a live band.
A get away from it all stay
Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds but the weather wasn t on our side unfortunately so we could only gaze & wonder out the windows!
Lovely welcome by reception & our requests were fully covered so thank you.
Rooms were lovely & warm beds extremely comfortable.
Food was enjoyable in the restaurant although just quite a wait between starters & mains.
Because of this we were the last ones in restaurant!
Would return again hopefully with better weather!
Disappointed
Hi - My wife and I had really hoped for a lovely get away and were very disappointed with our room which had hairs in the shower and smelt of smoke, the pool hot tub also was not working.....
The staff did move us but it was not an ideal impression of a hotel get away that cost us a lot of money.

Start your morning with a stop in Dorking, browse the antique shops of West Street before sipping coffee in one of the quaint cafes. Driving through beautiful Surrey countryside and villages head to Shere Village, which has featured in several Hollywood movies (including 'The Holiday' and 'Bridgette Jones' Diary', after exploring the village enjoy a pub lunch, afternoon tea or an ice cream at Shere Delights!
After checking-in, pop on a pair of hunter wellies and head out on a walk around the gardens and through the estate on one of the local walking routes. Or, relax on the 1877 Bar terrace with cocktails and views over the gardens, followed by a delicious dinner in our 1877 Restaurant.
After a peaceful night's sleep and a breakfast feast, head to Newlands Corner for a morning walk and stunning views of the Surrey Hills. At the bottom of the hill learn about gin making and sample some of their award-winning gin with a distillery tour at Silent Pool Gin Distillery.
Pick up a picnic in Dorking before heading to Polesden Lacey or, visit RHS Wisley and explore their world-class gardens. Freshen up, then, as the sun sets, stroll up the drive to the Wotton Hatch Pub for dinner.
