Are you ready for an egg-citing dog-friendly Easter adventure with your four-legged friend? It’s the pawfect time of year to gather with the whole family for fun activities, from Easter Egg hunts, egg painting, and egg rolling!

Within this article, we have gathered up some fantastic dog-friendly Easter Activities for you to enjoy in 2025. We’re sure more Easter events will arise over the coming weeks too, so we’ll keep adding to this article to keep you updated. Hopping Hounds at Dobbies, multiple locations!

Hop along to Dobbies Garden Centres this Easter for an unforgettable Egg hunt. Let your canine companion put their nose to the test around the store to discover all the hidden treats. Following the end of the hunt, you’ll be rewarded with some Easter goodies including an Easter themed dog toy, a dog-friendly Easter Egg, and vouchers!

Don’t forget to drop by the dog-friendly restaurant – when you buy a slice of cake (£3) you will get a free hot drink and puppuccino.

To finish, have the pawfect pawtrait photo taken of you and your dog in front of the Easter themed backdrop. A lovely way to remember your day together.

Easter Hunt, Hyde Park, London

Who doesn’t enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt? As it happens, furry friends love to use their noses to sniff out hidden treats. Join YapYap at Hyde Park near the Italian Garden in London for their 4th annual dog-friendly Easter Hunt! All dog breeds are welcome to the event where they can unleash their inner detective and search for treasure!

If your four-legged friend likes to dress to impress, there’s a Best Dressed Contest taking place too! There will be 5 winners – could your dog be one of them?

Easter Adventure Quest, North Yorkshire

Are you and your trusty hound ready for an adventure? The Easter Adventure Quest in Whitby Abbey is a fun-filled event for the whole family. Crack the clues hidden around the grounds and afterwards enjoy a delicious chocolate award (humans only!). While your furry friend can’t eat the award, they will love sniffing around the gardens as you embark on your egg-citing mission.

Time: 10am – 5pm

Locations: Multiple English Heritage Sites. Including Stonehenge, 1066 Battle of Hastings, Bolsover Castle, Dover Castle in Kent, Osborne in Isle of Wight, Wrest Park in Bedfordshire etc.

National Trust Easter Egg Trail, Wiltshire

National Trust properties world-wide are hosting egg hunts and family fun activities for the Easter holidays. The National Trust Easter Egg trail in Stourhead, Wiltshire, is one of many. Get ready to follow the dog-friendly Easter trail and pounce between different Easter activities for your chance to win a chocolate egg.

Following your Easter Trail, make sure to treat your dog to one of the many dog walks around the National Trust estates.

Dates: Saturday 29th March – 21st April 2025

Easter Pawty at The National Horserace Museum, Suffolk

Does your beloved canine companion love a pawty? Then this is an event you don’t want to miss!

Celebrate your dog-friendly Easter holiday at The National Horserace Museum. Here, you can enjoy a Fun Dog Show, displays, creative activities, and an Easter Trail. Admission tickets are £5 per adult and £3 per child (dogs go free!). If you’d like to enter your pup into the dog show, it’s £2 per class.

This doggy-themed event is tailored for families and furry friends, so you know it’ll be fun for everyone!

Woof and Seek at Gaucho Restaurants, Hampstead

An egg-traordinary addition to Gaucho Restaurants ‘Doggy Saturday’ events. The Woof & Seek invites four-legged friends to take part in an Easter Egg Hunt on their terrace.

Afterwards, treat yourself to the new tasty A La Carte menu featuring 100% Argentinian steaks and deliciously grilled Sea Bass. As for your furry friend, they can be by your side enjoying a treat of their own from the three-course A La Bark Menu!

All About Dogs Show, Newbury

Whether you take part or not, dog shows are a fantastic day out for the whole family and fluffy friends. Expect a weekend packed with activities at The All About Dogs Show in Newbury. The exciting day will include arena displays, lots of shopping, expert advice, agility activities, fastest recall, and lure racing. Your pup can even enter one of the dog shows with a chance to win a rosette!

If you’re not available for the Newbury date, good news – there are a series of All About Dogs Shows. This includes the Easter Weekender All About Dogs Show at Trinity Park in Ipswich!

Egg Rolling at Arthur’s Seat, Edinburgh

The most popular site in Edinburgh on Easter Sunday is Arthur’s Seat. Why you ask? Not only does the old volcano offer spectacular panoramic views, but also, it’s the pawfect spot for egg rolling! Getting to the top can be quite the hike though and can take an hour or two, so remember to bring your walking shoes!

If you’re looking for an easier climb, Calton Hill is a great alternative. The long grassy slopes are just as fun to roll your eggs down.
