Situated in a peaceful village opposite East Lambrook Manor Gardens, this beautifully restored and extended inn has an enviable reputation for good food, which is freshly prepared from ingredients supplied by only the best local producers and suppliers. Friendly atmosphere and dogs usually get a treat too.

Traditional busy family run village pub, the main bar is 600 years old with flagstone flooring set in an area of outstanding beauty and situated at the foot of the hills. Also has B&B which dogs are allowed to stay in for a small charge. It serves basic pub food and some more sophisticated dishes plus lots of fresh fish dishes. There are many outstanding walks, and Exmoor National Park is only 15 minutes away.

A country pub in the middle of Somerset, serving good, wholesome and filling food. The atmosphere is easy going and all are welcome. The Hen House is a small barn conversion/cottage on one level. Although part of the five acres of wilderness garden surrounding Sherwood the Hen House stands in its own walled and fenced yard and has a separate entrance from the road. There are also several other cottages available . Each has its charm but together and along with the Hen House they form an ideal group for families and friends to enjoy each others company while providing the space and privacy people (and their dogs) need to really relax.

When you arrive you will wonder if this just a standard Pub, but the rooms are of another level completely as is the food! You and your dog will be very happy here!
