Ideal for a few days away. Very friendly & helpful staff. Food was excellent - room was ideal for access as we were in the courtyard. Easy access from A1. Also easy to get to so many local attractions such as Durham - take the Park & Ride. We had only one concern - they were late in turning on the heating in the evening but that was resolved. Overall excellent!

The Good Life
A very relaxing stay in this wonderful venue, celebrating with a group of friends. Food and service were good. At 15 per double gin though, found the bar prices to be a bit expensive. Plenty to see and do both locally and within a bus ride or train ride , not hesitate to stay there again.
