Location & Local Attractions
Walk with your dog around Rutland Water - walking a full circuit which takes in the Hambleton Peninsula covers some 24 miles. If you prefer a shorter stroll around the Waters, start at Normanton and walk across the dam to Sykes Land and back. This route is flat and smooth and has fantastic views. Other options include walking across the grassy meadows of the dog-friendly Exton Park Estate and wonderful woodland walks at Fineshade Woods and Wakerley Great Woods.
