Romantic break for 1st Anniversary

David H, stayed: July 2015

Enjoyed a lovely 1 night spa break with 3 course meal and breakfast. We were greeted with a nice glass of sherry on arrival at the reception desk, and as it was a special occasion we were given a complimentary room upgrade. We were given a Suite (room number 150) on the 1st floor and it was more than adequate. The staff had left us a complimentary box of luxury chocolates along with a note wishing us both a very happy anniversary - which I have to say was a nice touch.

We ate in the Brasserie and the food was very nice, as was the service.

The spa was good, and we took advantage of the intercom to order champagne in the outdoor hot tub - which was great.

Only slight negative was when we took our drinks through and sat in the lounge area after our meal - there were a number of staff who passed by but no-one came to collect our empty glasses or ask if we would like any more drinks.

Would definitely return in the future.

Maureen, London, stayed: April 2015

We decided to stay at Armathwaite Hall to break our journey to the North West of Scotland. It was fabulous. It is a short drive from the M6 and located in wonderful countryside with a fantastic spa. We arrived in the early afternoon and spent a glorious afternoon in the spa followed by a lovely dinner in the Bistro. We left the next morning feeling relaxed and refreshed for the rest of our holiday.

Valantines Weekend

Kevin, Lancashire, stayed: February 2015

I decided to book a special weekend away with my partner and soul mate. The booking was made via Google search engine and the first impression was one of amazement, the website ticked all the correct boxes.
On arrival we were made to feel very welcome, sherry was offered whilst our room was found, our room was totally amazing as we got an upgrade due to someone not appreciating the view, their loss my gain.
Choice of food was excellent, well cooked and presented, breakfast choices were brilliant and the view breathtaking, pleasant walks, lovely scenery all in all well worth every penny in my opinion and loved by both myself and partner.
