Treat yourself
We had a wonderful couple of days at Burgh Island, it completely lived up to the reviews. Old school opulence but never overly ostentatious. Great, friendly, well trained staff, beautiful food and service overall wonderful experience, highly recommended.
Loved Burgh Island Hotel & its location!
I loved our brief visit to Burgh Island Hotel! Only 2 nights but I need to come back again! I loved being isolated by the tide coming in. Our room was warm and cosy with a lovely deep bath to luxuriate in and a balcony with chairs and a table for when the weather is good! All in Art Deco styling which I loved! Next visit I d like to try the Mermaid Pool - in warmer weather!
The staff were so friendly and obviously supportive of each other - they worked as good teams and were prompt on their servings. The food was excellent - how do they get such supplies in on an island?! Lovely jazz group in the ballroom with great lady singer - all foottappingly good. A wonderful experience! Thank you.
